Jake,
I am an entrepreneurial-minded freelance Photographer and Director of Photography. As an official Red Bull Media House Photographer, I shoot many high paced sporting events in extreme conditions. I gained much of my adventure/action sport experience being an adventure tourism guide and photographer for the elite tourism company, 'Explore Newfoundland'. I then spent four years working in the Toronto film industry. From lighting work on set, to producing podcasts in the studio, and drone operating on location.
I am an IMDb credited Camera Operator and Director of Photography, including documentary projects for World Fishing Network, WILD TV, GORVing Canada and CBC. I also completed a Super Bowl spot with Unifor, with only a team of three in under two weeks. Bringing my gear out into extreme conditions is my ideal gig, and I love jobs that keep me on my toes. Having shot via kayak, helicopter, super-pipe grade crampons, horseback and car trunk, I’m comfortable I can handle whatever you throw at me.
